Using the right fluid sampling hardware helps ensure accurate and representative samples of the oil condition and contamination in the machinery.
Modern preventive maintenance and environmental control requires samples of oils and other fluids from tanks, trucks, barrels, hydraulic systems, engines, gearboxes etc. Effective oil and fluid analysis is important to identify wear, contamination and changes that can affect machine health and reliability.
To make an analyse result meaningful, the sample has to be representative for the fluid. With our hand-held, easy to use vacuum pump you can reach to where you need to take the sample and get it out, clean and easy, without contamination.

- Take a few quick strokes, but don’t pump while the bottle is filling. Try with water to get a feeling for the process.
- Use a magnetic holder or a foot stand, especially when you sample high vicosity lubricants. This way you are free to do something else while the bottle is filling.
- Use pointers or weights to reach deep down in tanks or sewers.
- Use a pointer and a tube clamp to get back to the same place every time you sample a specific object, i.e. in a gearbox.
